Regency Mews is a 19th century mews that comprised of an L-shaped part three storey part two storey warehouse. Although at one time the property was a thriving business with over 20 employees, in recent times the property had suffered from many years of neglect . We were successful in obtaining change of use planning permission for a development of four flats and a two bedroom residential house with associated landscaping. We proposed the demolition of the existing building due its current state and replaced it with a new build development, which was both modern, attractive and of functional design.

Residential One

The project consisted of a rear, side and front ground floor extension, as well as internal alterations to the ground floor. The site is a two storey semi-detached residential house on a residential street. A number of internal alterations and renovations as part of modernising the ground floor and part of the first floor was proposed. We were able to act for the client from the initial stage of inception of the project, right through the completion of the building works.

Residential Two

Two adjoining 1930’s houses in a residential close both currently housing four bedrooms. We were able to design individual loft conversions for each house, as well as a ground and first floor side extension to one of the houses. The benefit of doing the houses together meant that they were able to get a reduced rate on their choice of builder and the work would be done in unison. Key design features were optimising light within the loft, through sky lights and large glazing to the rear as well as utilising each square foot of space to its maximum.

Regency Club Conversion

The conversion and complete renovation of an 18th Century building in the heart of Willesden. Set over three floors the property was previously a Working Mans Club and housed as many as 500 guests when events took place. We were successful in obtaining change of use and planning permission for two maisonettes set over two floors, a large one bedroom flat, two three bedroom houses with private gardens, a two bedroom house with exclusive private garden and a large double fronted retail unit at the front of the property. The property had to be stripped back to a shell before being transformed into modern, spacious luxurious units.

Matok and The Grill House

A large retail unit in a central location within the trendy area of Temple Fortune. We split the large premises into two and transformed the empty shell into a stylish, contemporary, workable space. The concept was to split the unit into two and create a day time café with on site bakery and a night time grill house. Both with very different layouts and finishes to suit the characters of each individual space.

Brent Place Development

A small two bedroom house with no bathroom upstairs and an awkward layout downstairs, on a large plot of land, bought due to its development potential. We were able to obtain planning permission to increase the ground floor area by over double its original size and to extend on the first floor creating three good sized double bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom and a good sized communal bathroom. The client being a developer wanted to create a top spec finish and open plan design with fantastic views out into the garden which we were able to achieve.

Four Trees Surgery

Refurbishment of an existing doctor surgery in Kentish Town, to create a new internal layout making optimum use of the existing space. New features included incorporating a lift within the building, the design of new consultation rooms, minor surgery rooms as well as a new reception and waiting area. We were employed right from the initial conceptual design stage through to completion of the works and were successful in improving the existing layout as well as modernising the entire premises.

Residential Three

A large end of terrace residential property that was in need of complete renovation and partial demolition. The project consisted of a rear first floor extension, a loft conversion and full refurbishment of the entire house. Close attention to detail was required for the loft layout due to limitations with existing headroom as well as reconfiguring the first floor area. We were able to act for the client from initial inception right through to completion.

A truly unique detached five bedroom period home situated in an enviable location in Hendon. The clients approached us to upgrade and redesign this one of a kind detached property which was in its original condition. Our services included alterations and full refurbishment of the house, together with working alongside interior designers to meet the clients needs as they wanted to retain elements of the period features although with a modern twist.
